    Re: Believe in Evolution?

Adaptation and variation is different than evolution. Animals have the ability to adapt according to their surroundings. Evolution is not a fact. There are about a million different ways I can prove evolution is NOT true, and you would have to agree on everyone of them. The world was created by God, and designed by Him. The Bible says, "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse." The difference between adaptation and evolution is that adaptation is the ability for a certain animal to adapt is already "programmed" in it's genetic code. Evolution, which isn't true or real, means that an animal can turn into a completely different animal by random chance accidents. That is impossible. Think about it.

I believe in evolution because it is the most concrete thing we have and it has semi-logical theories attached to it. Has anyone noticed that the religious people just bludgeon the evolutionists' ideas to death, but the evolutionists just state their opinion and move on?

    Re: Believe in Evolution?, USA

Hi, my name is Hannah. I live in the USA.

I DO NOT believe in Evolution. I know that God created me, and everything that there is. Scientists cannot prove ANYTHING that has to do with Evolution. Nothing that Evolution states has been backed up by proof. In Genesis 1:1 it says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." I for one, was not evolved from a monkey, and am offended that people believe that. I instead, was created by God, and so were you. The human body is too complex to come from "a big bang." I believe that our bodies were created by God, so that we could be His disciples.

    Thanks,

    Hannah

I believe in evolution because scientifically, we didn't just appear out of nowhere. I think we evolved from an animal. Most people think from apes.

Evolution is a waste of time. If evolution was true....then why is there still monkeys? If evolution is true...then why do we test medication on rats? Rats are the closest DNA wise to humans than monkeys are to humans. People who believe in evolution don't understand that God is the way, the truth, and the life. Genesis 1:1-In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth. God Created earth! We humans are a part of the world. God created us humans so that we may live to honor and glorify Him. God isn't a fantasy, He's real. But people haven't opened their eyes to see the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. God loves EVERYONE, no matter what you've done, God is merciful and He will forgive you as soon as you ask.

I think it is all about faith--either faith in science or faith in your religion.  Both things you have to believe in things you can't always see.  In my family we are more science people, though we do go to church, too.  For me evolution just makes more sense.  I think that things change and adapt to their environment over time.  But you have to decide what you feel most comfortable with.

    Re:Believe in Evolution?, Canada

Hey Meg, My name is Chantal. I'm from Canada. Yes, I beleive in evolution. I don't believe in god. My family has a strong belief in God, we are catholic. Me two brothers and I don't believe in God, we believe in our own thing, such as Evolution. Everyone has something to believe in, if your parents don't believe in it, that doesn't mean you have to. My parents believe in God. It's something that we have to make choices on our own. Evolution may be hard to prove that it's true, same as god, it's hard to believe it's true, as we need proof. I hope this helps. Chantal

    Re:Believe in Evolution?, Australia

Hey Megan, My name's Amelia. I think evolution is intriguing and a very powerful topic. I believe there has to be something out there, some force or power because what happens when we die? How are we all the way we are? What brought everything into existence? Its a really hard concept to grasp. Do you believe in God? What has your dad been researching? I hope to hear back from you soon! Amelia

    Re:Believe in Evolution?, Germany

I don't believe that evolution is fact. If you believe in god you will believe the story of Adam and Eve. We humans did not evolve from anything. We only evolved from ourselves. We became more and more intelligent and this is the result of it.

It's not about believing. Its fact, whether people want to accept it or not. Evolution had to work in the ice age or you wouldn't be sitting at your p.c today. Everything would have died if the animals hadn't adapted. Yours, Laura

    Re:Believe in Evolution?, Germany

Yes, I don't believe in evolution either. I believe in my religion strongly. Humans (Scientists) are not intelligent enough to understand how humans came to be. We are special and could have not evolved from monkeys. We were created by God.

    Believe in Evolution?

Hi, I'm Megan. When I hear about Evolution, it seems impossible to believe. Scientists have discovered that it cannot be the basis for life but they don't want to believe in the only other alternative, intelligent design, because it supports god. My dad used to be a physics professor and when he came to know God, he went out to find the truth. My dad and many other people found out that evolution cannot be the entire reason for life on earth. I just want to know your opinion on this. Please reply.
