Hi my name is Catherine.  I'm American. I do have a cell phone. I think they are very useful especially in case of emergencies. I don't have a house phone so I have to use my phone at home. A lot of people don't have home phones here anymore.

    Re: Cell phones, Japan

Hi Dani, it's Rachael. I have a cell phone and I use mine all the time. I think we should be able to use our cell phones throughout our lunch hour so we can contact our family to tell them about sports and other stuff that we do after school. We are allowed to carry them but they must be off or they can get taken away. If we get our cell phones taken away our parents have to come get them.

Hi! I'm Danielle and I live in the U.S. I do have a cell phone. My cell phone is very helpful to me so people can contact me. Also, in case of an emergency I will have it to call someone. I very much appreciate having one. My cell phone has a stripped case. I use my cell phone a lot more than my home phone.

Hello! My name is Natashia. I used to have a cell phone but it isn't working anymore. In my opinion cell phones are needed to keep in touch with people and they are useful when you need to contact your parents and friends.  A lot of people use cell phones at home ,especially for texting. texting is extremely popular.

    Re: Cell phones, United Kingdom

Hey. I Live In UK. I have a mobile (Cell phone) too. Sometimes they are useful, but other times they are not! I had about 3 mobiles in 2 months. They all kept breaking and going weird so I couldn't use them. That's annoying!

    Re: Cell phones, Italy

Hi! I live in Milan (Italy) and my name is Marta. I have a cell phone. I think it is useful but I don't use it much. I use my cell phone to write to my friends, but when I'm at home, I use our home phone. Thank you very much for your opinions on cell phone use.
