    Re: Why Violent Video Games?

I think they make all these violent video games because they create the adrenaline that the gamer is unknowingly seeking, the same adrenaline satifaction given by fighting. So if you are mad, play a violent video game and use your anger to gain a few difficult levels. So, in a way, if you have good self-controll, violent video games could prevent violence outside of the game.

Because video games are made so that the players can escape reality. In real life you can't pull out a chainsaw and run down the street cutting people limbs off.

I also agree with Justin. All they want is money! I think they are too bloody.

    Re: Why Violent Video Games?

They make violent video games because it's fun and it helps them to make money, both big wins, along with the fact that for every person who doesnt like them there's two or three that do. Video games that are not violent are very boring and have no point. It's not the violence that's fun, but the skill needed, the challenge, and the fact that you can play them with others online. Thanks! Bye!

Violent video games are kind of like a therapy for me.

Violent video games are fun. And they are also a great stress reliever.

Violent video games make money because people will buy violent games. They are in right now but I don't like them.

    Re: Why Violent Video Games?

I think violent video games are so fun because they make all the stress go away without actually having to get into a sport or a fight. I play for 30 minutes to an hour and that takes all the stress away.

    Re: Why Violent Video Games?

I think they make violent video games for the fun of it and to make people think that it's fun to kill people. Who really needs violent games? They are so silly, but some people think they are not.

    Re: Why Violent Video Games?

I think all video games are violent because there are many reasons, such as make more money, resource power demonstration (like S.T.A.L.K.E.R.), teen appeal (please note that teens 13 to 18 are the most popular users of gaming systems), and so on. But there are non-violent games like Microsoft Train Simulator, Densha de Go!, Bus Driver etc. I love Densha de Go!

Whoa! Justin they don't want kids to become violent, they make them to make money and to give kids a good time. I play a lot of violent video games but I know that their content is wrong. Only some games are really bad like Grand Theft Auto. That's bad.

They make violent video games to appeal to different types of people. My favorite are Assassins Creed and Call of Duty.

I think that they are fun because they are all about strategy. That is just my personal opinion.

    Re: Why Violent Video Games?

I think violent games are made because the people making them (sadly) found out that young people would play and buy them. There's no one to stop them from selling them.
