I agree we should stop using factories. We need to protect it, not destroy it and weaken it. If we stop using factories as much our air will be cleaner and healthier then it already is. This is the planet we have and we need to save it.

    Re: Cold and Warming, China

Well global warming is a very big issue in the states. Even though the winters are very cold the summers are harsh and hot.

I know that the adults aren’t trying to do anything but we have to  because we  are the future of the  world.

My parents try not to use their car on the weekend.  They ride their bikes or walk places.  But we live more in the city, so it's pretty easy for us to do that.  We can easily get to the store, the library or a restaurant without our car.  I think the idea of not letting cars and busses idle outside of schools is a good one.  It's probably not good to inhale all of that exhaust and it would help to stop air pollution, even just a little bit is good, right?

I think it is important to stop pollution, too.  We need to stop producing ozone depleting gasses.  With out the ozone layer to reflect back some of the Sun's heat I think the Earth will get hotter.  In our family we try ride our bikes around town instead of using a car.  I also walk to school.  They started a campaign at our school to have the buses turn off their engines instead of idling to help control the pollution.  I think if everyone did just a little it would help.

    Re: Cold and Warming, China

I agree that weather does seem to be getting more extreme.  This winter in Illinois we had some very cold days.  So cold that they wouldn't let us go to school.  Extreme weather does make it very hard for people.  And for animals too.  I agree with the first poster--we do need to take better care of our Earth because we only have one planet.  Not everyone agrees that humans are causing the extreme weather through Global Warming but what is the harm in changing our bad habits anyway?  Like lowering car emissions or finding alternative fuels.  If it helps to fix the problem, great!  If it just helps make it a healthier place to live, that's great too!  It's a win-win.

It is TOO cold these weeks in China. Blizzards in ten provinces have made life so difficult for people. This extreme weather seems to be lasting. What can we do with it?

    Cold and Warming, China

These years, the weather changes very obviously. It is becoming warmer and warmer now. And the dry is very serious, too. We must stop this situation to happen again. We need a nature earth not the factories and the pollution. To save the Earth is to save ourselves! We have the only Earth to live in. We must do protect it every day and fight against the pollution bahavior.
