I'm pretty sure that something will probably happen on that day. I don't think the world will end. Things like this, I believe, can't be predicted. It will just happen. In the bible it says that the end of the world will come after many hurricanes and natural disasters, which, if you think about it, we've been having a lot of. If I were the last human on Earth, I'd be scared out of my mind and I don't know what I'd do!

I don't think the world will end.  Nobody should worry about it.  But, if I was the last human on Earth, I wouldn't even want to be alive!

I do think it will end. I had a dream a little while ago, the way it happened was that a 3rd world war broke out.  Nuclear war wiped out most of the world population.

Not only does the Bible hint at the apocolypse in 2012, but so did the Mayans.  Their calander ended on December 11, 2012, so that's when the end of the world is due.  That's in less than 4 years, and I won't get to graduate!  Oh well, at least I'll get to see what happens.  I wonder if it'll be another meteor...

It is a lie, there is no possible way the world will end in 4 years. I don't know how you got this info but it is a load of rubbish. Even though some people say it will it wont!

If, and, I beleive the world will end in 2012, it will not be because of god! I have learned from several sources that the world will end in 2012. I will not reveal my sources but I will say that it is told by several religous people that it will end soon. I think it will happen.

 Hi, my family and I think that yes the world is going to end soon.  We think this because, in the bible God says that near the end, there will be a president that will try to make all christians turn against God.  I am also, very scared!  Please send me your opinion about what I just said. 

I honestly don't think the world will end. A few theories isn't going to kill us in 2012. People will die, cry, lose their jobs, and get married. I don't think that the world will end in 2012.

    If I were to take a guess, then my most realistic view on 2012 is we are going to find something that will change the world. It might be the discovery of aliens.

If the world were going to end or at least come to near extinction, it would be by America trying to blow somone up.

I live in the US.  I realize how the people are over here. Half of them think it's their inalienable right to do whatever they want.

They control what we say and post. They control what we do. They try to control a lot of things that they shouldn't.

We have had some of our civil rights taken away because Bush wants to assess threats as he sees fit.

So, if somone says something he doesn't like, he can listen in on their phone conversations.

Back on subject: The world won't end until America decides when they want it to. Sad truth, unless a comet hits us or something.  Everyone else that has Theories; they are just theories. They cannot be proven until 2012.  That's a few years from now so, have fun.

I probably would be terrified but God has us on the earth so we can serve our purpose so, I would know that since he hasn't taken me off the earth yet, then my purpose is not served so I have something to work on for the rest of my life. I wouldn't know what exactly to do if I was the only one I knew left but I guess I would learn soon enough.

One night I was watching the History Channel and they said that in 2012 or so the world will split into a web. I never want that day to come. I want to grow up and live!

Yeah, I've heard about it too, Dan. But we shouldn't be afraid of it- even if it'll be the end of the world, and we'll die, let's say, then I'm sure we won't know about it :) It'll happen and be over. If we'll see that a nuclear war is starting a few weeks or months before the date, then we'll know that something is going to happen. How did all those ancient people know about the doomsday? Maybe someone told them? Maybe that someone has a target? I'm sure that if we're supposed to live - we will live. If I'll live after a lot of others would die (if that will really happen), then I'll cry a bit, I'll think a lot and then I will work very hard to know more. I then will be sure that someone knew, and that that someone has contact with Earth. I won't be surprised if that someone will appear and take us somewhere... It's creepy, really, but why be scared? We'll just wait and see. The life is an unknown play, afterall, we need to enjoy it!

The Mayans were smart and based their theories on the stars and planets, but I am not really sure about it. I don't really believe that we are going to die. Maybe its beginning of a new world.
