I don't believe the world will end in 2012 either, but what I do believe is the fact that when the Sun dies (all stars die), then the world will end. Life can only exist on a planet if there is a source of light and water. If there is no light, everything on Earth dies. Astronomers calculated that our Sun has been burning for over 4.5 billion years and will keep burning for another 5 billion years. Your answer is that the world will end sadly 5 billion years from now. We still have an incredible amount of time left.

The world will NOT end in 2012! What it says in the Bible has NOTHING to do with this. In the Bible, it talks about Christ's return (Don't know what I'm talking about? Read the book of Revelation in the Bible.).  Christ will NOT  "wipe out" 1/6 of the Earth, he will come to redeem Christians (people who have confessed their sins, and have been saved by Christ).

Anyway, to answer your question, I think it would be HORRIBLE to be one of the last humans on Earth. Why? Because the last humans on Earth have to go through seven years of satan RUINING our lives (Still don't know what I'm talking about? Keep on reading the book of Revelation!). Good Bye!!!!

Ahhhhh...the long awaited 2012!! I think I would manage to be the last person on Earth if I had to, but I would be so depressed from missing my family and friends. I do fear this legend alot, but I have heard about ways to stop it. Such as the crystal skulls holding the power to stop it if all 13 are alined. It's worth a try I guess...

I think that  we won't know the truth until it happens or doesn't happen. If you think the world is going to end in 2012 then I'd say make your life the way you want it to be. Try things you've wanted to try, because if the end comes and you haven't tried it then you'll be stuck saying to yourself "Why didn't I..." or "I should have...". If you don't think it will end then keep living your normal life but it's important to believe what you think. I'm not sure though, could the H1N1 have something to do with the end of the world?

No, the mayans picked a day that was a part of a 26,000 year cycle that is where all the planets in the solar system align and could (in theory) make something like a pole shift happen. (Where the north and south pole switch positions). Is it likely? No. Statistically possible? Yes.

That is just when the Mayans stopped keeping track of their calendar. That does not mean anything to when the world will end.

I think it's a hoax. If I was one of the last ones on earth, I would teach myself how to sky dive.

There are many theories about 2012 some true, some false. The only one I believe is this: Scientists say that the sun has radiation building up and it will be released on December 21, 2012 and it will wipe out all life as we know it.

That would be scary. I think I'd end up dying from starvation or something! They did say that the Mayan calendar says the world will in end 2012 in September sometime.
