Re: 4th graders ePals wanted video-conference project: United States

This is my first time to respond to an ePals post. I am interested in using ePals and Skype this year.  Did you use Skype last year, too? Any problems?

I teach 3rd grade, so we may not match. However, if you are open to the idea I would like to introduce Skype to my students and possible have them contact your students to ask questions about their community. Perhaps they could "call" you to complete a survey, discuss local/national/world events. I used to live in Tuscaloosa.

4th graders ePals wanted video-conference project: United States

I would like my 19 fourth graders to make connections with other students around the world and around the United States. We are from Birmingham, Alabama. I did ePals last year and my students loved it. I would like my students to connect through e-mail as well as skype video conferencing once a month. Please e-mail me if you are interested. Thank you. Geri
