I agree too. It is more stupid to discriminate and segregate than to be more superior. Once the racism starts, the other person is hurt.

Yes, I agree. If you ever watch a movie callad Malcolm X you will realize that racism is just something on the outside. The inside of a person is what counts and the feelings of a person.

Yes, everyone should just accept people and stop being rude.

    I think racism should stop.

There really is no point to racism. People just find someone different and pick on them to make them feel better about their imperfections. We all need to stop it and that means even the little jokes we say here or there.

Re: Racism, what is the point?

I completly agree. Racism is completely unneeded and irrational. To judge an entire race by the color of their skin, or on a single person, etc. just doesn't make sense. The problem is, people grow up and live with it everyday. Even me today, I am hearing my friends say, they dislike white people, they dislike black people. Saying, things like "Trey, you can't jump a fence?! How long has it been since you hopped the border?" It gets really annoying that people have to be categorized by the color of their skin, or by their ancestors. Everyone is their own person and should have a chance to express their one individuality, not already ordered into a pre-made group from their race. My best friend is black, and I am white. I have known her and been friends with her since second grade. When I was a kid I didn't judge her by her skin color and now that I'm a teen, I still don't. Just like I don't judge her I won't judge others and do not think anyone else has the right to.

Racism should be stopped. I mean yea what is the point by being racist it is not going to change the color of their skin. In this society there is all kind of nationalities and you will have to deal with the fact that you are going to have to learn how to deal with it. I mean in school, work and everywhere there is all types of people and if you don’t want any types of problems your going to have to learn how  to accept the fact that everywhere you go that could be an issue so you should might as well get over it. Especially in the United States. I mean they can speak another language and be a different skin color but they are human and they can accomplish things just like you can.

There's no point in racism. It's a useless ideology just to make people crush their own kind. Get rid of these kinds of thoughts. It's useless.

I totally agree with you! Racism should be stopped! We are all humans; same species just different colored skin pigments.

People think they can bring other people down when they have something they don't. It makes them feel like they are in control when it is, actually, just racism. It is being prejudice in general.

Those people just want to feel superior. They are nuts.

I think that racism shouldn't even exist. :)

Re: Racism, what is the point?

Racism is the doorway to hate. It is ignorance and proves further that ignorance is not bliss, but knowlege is power. Here in the United States, we have hate goups all over the country. We are trying to take on world wide terorism when we still have terrorists living here in the USA.  One of the good songs about anti racism is "Where is the Love" by the Black Eyed Peas.

Great point!  If we all celebrated our differences -- and focused on our similarities -- the world would be a better place.

You make a very good point. If we all focus on the things we have in common and actually celebrate our differences -- then we would all be far better off.

    Hi Jonah,

I'm Karen from the United States, Illinois. I agree with you we all have hearts to pump oxygen through our veins and brains to think as well as any other person on the world. I don't know why other people believe their race is superior when we are all the same. Humans. Yes, the world would be a happier place without racism, maybe, just maybe we might have world peace.

I have to agree with you I think racism should stop and people should stop hating other people. Because I believe that God made everyone for a reason and that everybody should be treated the same and  earn that respect that everybody else get.
