    Re: Exchanging Christmas E-mail Cards.

    Hello Ryoko,

I am an elementary and middle school Technology Teacher in Washington, DC. I teach technology to a large range of ages 5- 12. We recently Celebrated International Day at my school and the 6th grade girls in particular (ages 10 &11) have learned all about Japan for the last 2 months. They did everything to creating decorations, presentations, traditional Japanese writing, and even origami to represent Japan. I think this would be a grand opportunity for them to share what they've learned in class and ask questions. I'm sure all 20 of them will be excited about seeing the DVD as well. Please let me know what you think!

    Thanks,

    Lucia Hassell

    Re: Exchanging Christmas E-mail Cards.

    Hello Ryoko,

I live in Arizona, United States and I have a class of 11-13 year olds who would love to exchange Christmas cards.  I used to live in Japan teaching English in 2000.  I lived in Yokosuka and travelled to Tokyo and Yokohama to teach.  I loved being there and often tell my students stories of my life there.    Let me know if you think we could make a good fit.

    Re: Exchanging Christmas E-mail Cards.

Hi!Ryoko! My name is Alyona.I am Russian. I teach English at school. My students are very glad to exchange Christmas cards with Japanese students. We know that your culture is very special and unique. It is very interesting to learn about the life in your country. There are 10 students in my class (12-15 years).( I tasted Japanese food : fish rolls in a sushi bar. I hope that your DVD video would be very useful.) We are looking forward to your answer! Bye! Alyona
