The letters can be written on any type of paper and they need to be placed in a stamped envelope. That would be the only hurdle. If my class accepted all the letters from across the United States without American postage, we would have to buy it all ourselves. Talk to the teachers and see if they would be interested. I understand the part about the postage can be a problem for families around this time of the year. I asked my parents to supply their child with one stamped envelope and the majority of them brought it in. I would need the letters by the 23rd, since my school goes on break for the holidays.
