Re: LET'S INTRODUCE STUDENTS TO OTHER CULTURES

    Hello, Karen!

I teach English in Russia. I have students of the same age. We are interested in communicating with students and teachers from other countries. Topics can be different. We'd be very pleased if you answer us!

    Thanks.

Re: LET'S INTRODUCE STUDENTS TO OTHER CULTURES

My name is Elena and I am an ESL (English as a second language) teacher at a secondary school in Latvia (west north Europe).

I am currently teaching two secondary school classes (students aged 15-17, groups of 13 and 17 students). I would like to initiate a keypal exchange with other ESL/EFL students aged 14-18+. Level is intermediate-upper intermediate. My students and I are open to any kind of cross cultural collaboration, including correspondence via emails, voice chats, video conferences, joint projects, etc.!

If you are interested, please reply and let`s arrange something interesting for our students! I would highly appreciate any contribution from Your side, either some useful advice and your fresh ideas, or active participation aand collaboration!

With best wishes and looking forward to collaboration and having fun teachng/learning English together!

    Elena

Re: LET'S INTRODUCE STUDENTS TO OTHER CULTURES

Hi Karen B. I am an eighth grade teacher in NYC. I am new to Epals, but I am very excited about teaching and learning with it. My students are 13-15, and being that I shared my recent experience of my trip to Disney World with them, communication with a group in Florida would have a great appeal. Please contact me and help me get started.

    Richard B.

I am a middle school teacher in Signal Mountain, Tennessee and would so love to be a part of your wiki/blog!  We are at a MYP candidate school and I would love to be a part of something where the kids I teach could learn from students from other parts of the world.
