    Hello Meri,

I have already set to work with Leanne.  Good luck with finding a set of partners for your Girl Scout Troop.

    Hi there,

This sounds good. I'm quite excited and quite nervous as well. This is my first project. Have you done many before? How do we proceed now? We won't be ready to begin until April. Is that okay for you?

    Cheers, Leanne

Hi Leanne, It would be wonderful if you would like to partner with my class on the habitat project. We certainly could offer lots of knowledge about the Fresh Water habitat. I'm sure your students would like some pre-project pictures from my class of the snow we currently have. Elaine djschoular@epals.com

    Hi, Elaine-

My small Girl Scout troop is interested in learning about habitats, and also learning French.  Do your students speak French?  Would they be willing to help mine learn?  They are willing to have multiple ePals.  Can we join you?  We live in West Virginia, along the Ohio River, so sometimes we get some of the Great Lakes snow!  My girls are going to choose animal code names.  We are a multi-year troop, with girls ranging from 10 to 14 years old.

    Dr. C.

Re: Habitat project during April - June 2009

    Hi there -

I am a sixth grade teacher currently working at the American School in Taiwan and looking for partner schools for this project beginning ~ April. We live in a tropical forest biome that's pretty warm all year round (no snow here!) :-) I would be interested in looking at a possible pairing if you are at all interested.

    Cheers, Leanne

(PS) I'm actually a Canadian from Ottawa myself but haven't lived there in years. It's nice to meet another person from "home". :-)

Habitat project during April - June 2009

I teach a class of 20 grade 4 students (ages 9 and 10) in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada.  I would like to partner with a class to work on the habiltats project, or parts of it,  during April - June 2009.   We live in a fresh water habitat.  The Rideau river and Canal system in our town is part of a World Heritage Site.  We are close to the five Great Lakes, the largest bodies of fresh water in the world.
