I think we just should not fight them but just leave them alone and stay as safe as possible.

The fact that you need floods speaks to the issue of needing disasters.  Life needs cyclical events.

My name's Yustinus. I am from Indonesia. I think natural disasters are natural processes which occur in everywhere and anytime.

Natural disasters are kind of natural processes which take place with a lot of causes factor. As we know about equilibrium equation,I think natural disasters are part of it. At this time, the development in many countries especially development country is increasing significantly. Based on that situation, their orientation is only about profit itself, such as deforestation and illegal mining. I think sustainable development must be including environmental aspects in their planning.

I'd want to stop them.  I don't think there's a way we can though because they are so big.  I don't think we have a big enough tool or device to stop them.

I agree, but natural disasters are a part of Earth's cycle. If we didn't have natural disasters, then the Earth would not function right.

I know that natural disasters are horrible and dangerous. But we can't stop them.

Of course that the world would be better without them, I mean, we'll be more safe, but the human being can't change the Nature!

Yes, a lot of people get killed because of it. But it will be not good to stop the Natural Disasters. Because, we will change Nature. I think that would be better if Men could foresees the disasters and not stop them.

My opinion is to stop all natural disasters because they can destroy everything the beautiful earth and god made and brought.  But in dry hot places we need floods once in a while for water so peolpe can survive. Do you agree? 

Natural Diasters can be very effective. Yes we should find ways to stop it , but it is the nature of life and we can't do anything about it. So that makes it nessesary to life on the planet Earth and if try to stop it we might make a diaster of our self. And that's my opinion!!!

I think there is no way to stop natural disasters. Even if we try to stop them you can't. You can't stop them because it's just how the world works and you can't control the world.

In my opinion the natural disasters are very very dangerous, but we don't STOP them. I agree with you. The natural disasters can cause a lot of probems.

Natural disasters are just that-- complete disasters, they devastate lives, cause pain and misery for thousands of people and can threaten smaller societys, but stopping them would be more disasterous if it were possible. These rare occurences are all part of our planet's natural weather cycle. To stop them would disrupt the cycle and perhaps cause greater and more sever side effects. Our only hope as mere humans is to prepare ourselves the best we can, monitor the likelihood of these events occurring, ensure that safety procedures are in place and allow ourselves a chance. We can't stop these from happening but if we can reduce the effects through preparation, they won't be such major disasters anymore.

Natural disasters are the earth's way of showing it has life. Sure you can try to stop natural disasters but they will only grow more fierce and we won't be able to stop it's force. In my mind I see it two ways, one: you can leave the world be, or two: you can try to stop things like natural disasters. I personally want number one.

I do not think that we should try to stop all natural disasters in the world. I believe that they are necessary to the life we live on Earth. Yes, they can be horribly scary, and ruin hundreds of lives. But on the optimistic thought, they do help the life cycle on Earth continue. Hope this gives you another perspective  on them.

Hello! I have not experience with a tornado but, I still think they are good for earth, because ia tornado allows new things to grow.
