gameplay is most important, it also shows more effort

graphics are nice and pretty but without a good idea and engaging controls/difficulty curve, the game will be no fun.

Hey, I'm Danny.  I think that gameplay is much more important. If your graphics are good but the gameplay is bad then it really doesn't matter if you have good graphics.  You won't want to play it.  I would go with xbox 360 because it has good graphics and great gameplay.

I believe there should be a combination between them and they should also have a good storyline.

Like stated before, why play a game just to look at pretty pictures? If you want eye candy, go watch a movie or look at paintings.

I've played all three games, but I think PS3 is the best out of the three. For gameplay and graphics though, I think you need both. You can't have a game that looks good but horrible to play, or a game that's great to play but looks bad. Overall, you need both. In Call of Duty: World at War or in Killzone 2, the gameplay is awesome and the graphics look great.

Gameplay is definitely a very important factor in the gaming community. You could have game with HD graphics like Sonic the Hedgehog for 360 and PS3, and look how that turned out! It was a horrible game with horrible controls and a horrible plotline. An 8-bit game like Galaga, Final Fantasy, or even the first Metal Gear were much better games. They were even released 10 years before!
