In America, we don't have such a device.  What we do have are sensors that you can put on your forehead and according to your brainwaves it can tell a monitor your emotions. Also a toy has been invented to read your brainwaves to power a fan to make a ball float. The harder you concentrate the harder the fan flows which makes the ball float higher then you turn a dial to make the fan move in a circular motion causing the ball to float through obsticles.

I would say no if they made one. It would be bad, you're just invading in someones space our subconsious=our minds. That's the only place we can be when times get tough. So I think you would like someone knowing what you think.

I think that a mind reading device would be amazing to have but  the technology doesn't exist. They tried different types of mind reading devices on a tv show called mythbusters, and none of them worked. The closest we have to a mind reading device is the lie detector they use on criminals.

Heyyyy.....okay I don't think a mind reading device is creaated yet and don't think it will be for about 5 more years......And when/if it is created then I think that many peolpe will buy this item at first. As long as the American economy is up..... I also think that many people will be not be very happy becuse of this device becuse it tells peoples personal thoughts and feeelings and it will quickly stop selling.......

 As Caitlin said, if there was such a thing (I think there is), the corrupted government would hide it from us. I think that any thing to do with the devices, although I am highly technological, would be pure evil. The things people could do with them...*Shudder*

Hey. I'm not sure if such a device exists. If it did, they probably wouldn't tell us since they are the government. If it did, I'm not sure people would want to get inside a criminal's head. Criminal psychologists have enough trouble not being affected by what they find out and that's without even reading their mind. Good post though. 

Hi, I am Ada from China. Nowadays, the technology is developing faster and faster. The standards of our life is much higher than before. We can  afford many advanced digital devices. I want to know whether there is a kind of  device that can read one's mind. If something like that does exist, I think it is terrible. Because it does harm to the rights of the people. It will lead people to mental disease like panic disorder. But every coin has two heads. We can operate this kind of device on criminals, who are usually tell lies to us. Then we can know what on earth he is thinking in his mind without asking them. But now, as we all know, there is a device that can tell what  the criminals said is true or not. As for what I said just now, maybe there is no one in the world. What ever, it is a hot topic in the world if it does exist. I wanna hear more ideas about it. I am looking forward to your reply.
