I think the biggest threat to biodiversity is humans. We have been hurting the many animals habitats and I think we need to stop!!

Hello my name is Ernest, I'm from Ghana.The biggest threat to biodiversity is human activities. The anxiety for living making human beings to struggle day in and day out without taking any thought  on its effects and taking any remedy or prevention endangers the biodiversity. The dischage of great amout of smoke with it harmful chemicals into the atmosphere puts human beings and animals in a danger position of living, some chemicals in the smoke also destroys the ozone layer which as a result bringing direct sun rays to the earth with it diseases to organisms as a result of the heat . The discharging of toxic substances in to river bodies destroys the aquatic habitate and its living organisms and making water impure for organisms.That is in order to maintaining the biodiversity and to live longer , we are rather destroying the biodiversity and shortening the lives of organisms.

I think humans have a lot to do with our habitat loses. Although I blame our government and economy. Our factories produce so much air pollution as well as ocean pollution and our government isn't acting on any of this. We have so many beautiful and extraordinary habitats that are home to thousands of different and unique species, and because of our need of more "stuff" we are destroying all of this.

I think the most obvious answer is simply human activities are the biggest threat. Mainly, the environmental changes caused by our activites which are causing the previously adapted animals to start to suffer.

I agree, if the habitat is damaged it effects the living species that live there and if we don't slow down and contiune destroy habitats, biodiversity will be gone forever.

Hi I'm Ernest from Ghana. Biodiversity is under threat. With polluted and degranated stage of the evironment. So what could we do to reduce or prevent it from destroying the habitat. 

The most remarkable places on Earth are also among the most threatened, where biodiversity is under seige by the dual pressures of poverty and overdevelopment, and where many endangered species are at risk of extinction.

Hi. I’m Florence Sampayan, a third year college student in the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, currently taking up Bachelors degree in Secondary Education majoring in Biological Science. We recently have a symposium regarding biodiversity. And it was mentioned that the single greatest threat to biodiversity was Habitat destruction as habitat is damaged it grounds the endangerment of the species living in that particular area. So as to prevent this, precautions should be observed because everything in our environment counts. As quoted by our speaker “Biodiversity once is lost, will be gone forever. Extinction is forever”
