You're idea sounds interesting and you can count us in here in North Carolina.  I'm curious about the details, is your bear traveling with a some questions or can we send it back with something that symbolizes our home? I teach 3rd grade in the Northeast and was looking to do something similiar with a native animal to our state. If you have time and wouldn't mind, could you please email the specifics of how you plan to get your bear from one place to the next and any other details you might want to share.

I teach a unit on map skills at the start of the school year (Sept.) and thought having our "Moose" journey around the globe for the year would be an awesome way for us to learn about maps!
