Re: Kiwi Kids looking to compare lives

I have 15 3rd graders here in North Carolina (USA).  We'd love to exchange emails, work on projects, share ideas, and maybe work out a Skype session if possible.  Hope to hear from you.  Mr. Alexander

Hello, Stacey. Please let me know if you would like to partner for the project (see previous email). If you are unable to, I am going to contact another school. Thanks! Elizabeth McGeough

Re: Kiwi Kids looking to compare lives

    Hi Maryna,

I have a class of 6-7 year olds in Maine, USA, who would love to learn about Ukraine. My husband's family is from Ukraine, so I would like to learn more too. We can use Skype, e-mail, Google docs, or other technology. My class will just be learning to read, but they really enjoy having pen-pals.

Please email me at my school if you are interested - we'd really like to have friends in Ukraine and learn more about your country. My email: nmathes@epals.com

Re: Kiwi Kids looking to compare lives

    Hi Stacey,

I live in Georgia in the USA and I am also looking for a group to partner with.  I don't think we will be ready to exchange emails  until October 2009.  Have you already found a classroom to correspond with?

I currently teach 7 and 8 year olds as well.  We will begin our next school year in 2 weeks...I will know how many boys vs. girls I would have then.  Write back if you are interested...Thanks, Carey Warhurst

    Hi Stasey,

Kids from the language school that I'm running are willing to participate in the project too. We live in Ukraine in a big industrial city Kryvyi Rih - I'm sure it is very different from your place in New Zealand. If you are interested in e-mailing us, let me know.

Kiwi Kids looking to compare lives

Hello. I have a class of 26 (13 boys/girls) New Zealand kids aged 7-8. We live at Te Puru school which is set on the beach - www.tepuru.school.nz We are looking at what makes NZ unique and would like to compare our findings with others around the globe. I would like to follow the emailing plan of 'the way we are', sending one email per week on the designated topics. Depending on your numbers, we could email in pairs. If you are interested in being our epals, please email me at pohutukawa@epals.com.
