Hello, I don't know if you are still lookign for a partner, we are working on a eco project as well. My students dont' have lap tops but we do have a computer lab. I can share our project let me know if it fits at all with what you were trying to do.
Here's the project. Each participant will be placed in a group and connected via e-mail or other technological web-based tool. Each participant will describe their ecosystem or biome, illustrate or find pictures of three animals, three plants, and three insects that are native to their area. They will then chose one of those animals and describe it's food chain (What it eats, what it eats), habitat - (in a log, in a swamp etc.,) and what it needs to survive - type of food it eats, possible predators, and adaptive qualities - (camouflage, heavy fur, claws basically anything used to help it survive.) Information and descriptions do not have to be long paragraphs, short descriptions are fine.
