    The trees in New Zealand look much different than the trees in Colorado were I live!! There is one similarity though, and that is the flax plant looks alot like a larger version of a plant we have here called yuca. I would be interested were in New Zealand this school is!!

    I thought this video was really cool.  It looks so different from where I live in Illinois.  Here's my question for the students:

    I thought it was really interesting that you were planting trees to bring back the birds.  Why did the native birds leave this area?
