    Hi

I cannot offer you a class now being retired, but if you fail to obtain a school to visit in London I maybe able to offer help in other ways.

Post a direct school email address here if you require help. As one cannot make attachments to forums.

    Regards

    John F

Looking for a partner school from London for a project on Education (comparison of educational systems between the two countries)

This year my students and I have decided to do a project on education. We would like to collaborate with a school in London in order to compare the educational systems of the two countries. We intend to start with e-mail exchange and then during our trip to London, in spring, to visit our partners' school and attend the lessons of one school day in order to observe how the lessons are held and focus on differences and similarities between the two countries'way of learning. The same could be done by our counterparts. We are very excited with this project! My students speak English very well, they are fond of using new technologies and meeting new people. Our school is a very good state junior high school in Nea Smyrni,15 minutes by tram from the center of Athens. We don't know the exact number of students who will take part in the project yet,but they will be around 25- 30 students. We are going to come to London during spring and we plan to devote one day for a visit to our future partners school. Of course, we will be very happy to have more time with our new friends if such a thing could be possible from both parts. We would also be very happy to see them in Greece, in our school in Athens, or maybe plan a trip to one of our wonderful islands, like Mykonos- we are planning an environmental program in Mykonos for the next school year-together. We are open to suggestions, and we are looking forward to finding a partner school the soonest posible!!! Mary Primi Teacher of English High school of Nea Smyrni Athens, Greece
