    Hi.

Are you still interested in communicating with other countries? What would you say about Polish students? I'm interested in doing a project about some topic, for exapmle - "Our schools" and discuss it at least once a week, two weeks maybe. I'd like to encourage some of my students (4-5 persons) to talk more. They are aged 11-12. What do you say?

    Pozdrowienia z Polski:)

Re: Irish class looking for epals.

I'm from Italy. I have about 30 students of 10.11 who begun in October to learn English and we would like to exchange mails. I have also 30 students of 11-12 who know English better. I would like to make them begin an exchange of mails.

    What about beginning an exchange?

    Ciao

why hello there! I hope you are well! I was just writing to see if you would be intrested in setting up some e mailing. I am actually an American teacher teaching in England. I am a special needs teacher, all students have individual education plans. I thought perhaps we could get the kids to share their news...share what their lives are like etc?

Hope to hear from you soon

Re: Irish class looking for epals.

    Hello,

I am a teacher w/ 10 and 11 yr olds in a small rural community in the USA, NC specifically and we study about your country.  Would like to possibly set up some communication.  My students would be thrilled to hear from you and maybe even skype you guys if possible.  I don't know how we would manage with the time difference but it is possible that we can video and do voicethread.

If you are interested, please contact me

Hi, we are a group of Gifted Students from South Central Kansas that would love to corespond via email. The students are grades 3rd, 4th and 5th. They each have an individual education plan and do research projects and work on independent projects.  If your group is still available please respond.

Re: Irish class looking for epals.

    Hello!

My name is Nicole and I have 8 students, ages 9-10, who are looking for ePals.  We'd like to write once a week, and create an interview to discuss topics like hobbies, school, family, etc. and then use those interviews to create a report on our ePal.  We'd love to write at least once using real snail mail, but mostly communicate using email.  At the end, if possible, we'd love to use Skype to "meet" our ePals.  Would you be interested?  This is our first time using ePals, so we're not sure how this works, but I had this idea (and we could each do this so that your students and my students would each create a report on their ePal):

Week 1 - a brief email to introduce ourselves

Week 2 - we will send the interviews

Week 3 - we will complete the interviews

Week 4 - send snail mail with pictures

Week 5 - we will email an update on our report, but we may need one more week to complete it

Week 6 - complete reports and send them back

Week 7 - Skype to say hi "in person"

Please let me know if this sounds like something you'd like to do!

    ~Nicole

I'm an English teacher in France. My pupils are 13-14 years old and we're looking for new ePals. They could write in French and English.

    I'm waiting for your answer.

Re: Irish class looking for epals.

    Dear Isabella,

My class is looking for penpals from Italy, so when I saw your post I had to write to you!  I teach 4th ,5th and 6th grade gifted students in a pullout classrorom, one day a week.  We live in Kingsville, Ohio USA near the shores of Lake Erie (in the Great Lakes region).  I have 9 students in a 4/5 combination class and 9 sixth grade students.  If you have any students in your class who would consider being a penpal with some of mine I would love to hear from you!     Thanks!
