Hi! My name is Raisiya. I am from Uray, Russia. I currently teach English in а secondary school. My students who are in the 5th, 6th and 10th forms speak English as a second language. They are keen to share their school life, hobbies, interests and culture with students, their age, from other countries. Students from around the world are welcome to share their culture with us. The students are eager to learn from others, all over the world, and would like to correspond by email at least once a week.  We are looking to collaborate with a class on the digital storytelling project. I have around 25 students.

I am a media specialist outside of Washington DC and would like to correspond with other kids in the United States. The class that I want to do this with is 5th grade. Are you stil interested? I have 4 sections of 5th grade. Each class has about 25 kids. Write me back. However, our kids are not allowed to email so they can write the letters and I can send them electronically to your email.  I love being a media specialist!

Hi, Nice to meet you. I'm eunsoon from south korea.

 My students who are 10-11years old are in 5grade level. Their first language is Korean, but they are learning English as a foreign language. It's been three years since they start to learn English. A canadian English teacher who is from Toronto came to our classroom and taught about Canada for 40mins. That triggered my students attention toward the global perspective. We woukd like to know about your country.

And learning about what is similar and different. To add it more , we'd like to proceed collaborative learning about certain subjects and topics. We can use many methods like video clips, audion files, photo sharing, emails and video conference programs. I wish we could have one or two project per every two month. I have a group of 28 students who meet twice a week Mondays and Wednesdays. We are looking to pair up with another class to collaborate on a The Way We Are project. I am "Brand new" to this technology and trying it for the first time. I just started my ePals account.  I am in hopes of working with my sister in law in the Netherlands as both her and my brother are there working.  She is a journalist with global warming and ties directly to senators in Washington, etc.. and my brother is a University professor.  I thought I would reply to your request only due to the fact that I may be able to learn with you.  I know that is kind of selfish, yet my students are also 6th graders here in Michigan and taking Spanish for the first time this year.  (For the past 5 yrs. many have been in Japanese classes, but we reconfigured our district.) Our hope is to do a blog with the Netherlands.   Perhaps our students may be pals too?
