    Hi Holly, Jennifer and Edith

The only way I can contact any of you personally is for you to either email me by clicking on the following email address kereng@epals.com , emailing me at that address, or adding your email to your message.  I would love to hear from you all!

Re: Australian family - Mum and daughters wishing to write to another family anywhere in the world

    Hi Keren,

I am a working mum from Hong Kong with a daughter of 6 years old. I joined ePals hoping to meet families around the world who have children around the same age so my daughter can make friend by start writing to them. She is learning English and shows a lot of interest in reading and writing simple English. She is active and like dancing, swimming and reading.

Though life is busy, I also like to make friends from different countries to learn more about their lives, cultures and yes, cooking is also my favourite. Homeschooling is new to us and it is great to be able to spend so much time with your children and see them grow.

My daughter's name is Lum Lum (Chinese name) and she is sleeping now. Will ask her to write next time if you are interested to share your world with us.

    Take care

    Edith

Re: Australian family - Mum and daughters wishing to write to another family anywhere in the world

Hi, I am the Mother of an almost seven year old boy (birthday is in less than one month). We are very intrested in finding a friend to learn about their ways of living ect. I would enjoy writing letters through the mail also, but ofcoarse we should start with emails to become familiar with each other faster. Please contact us if this sounds appealing to you. A little about us: We like to walk, play tennis, my son loves to play Soccer (Football), he is homeschooled as well, I am taking online college courses to obtain my associates degree in business management and plan to persue with my Bachelors afterward, we enjoy church, singing playfully, and we have a cat that we adore. My son also enjoys role playing. He acts like a cat that he named Mittens, and he loves to pretend to be Mario (from Super Mario Brothers). His favorite childrens group are The Wiggles. He has actually out grown them for the most part but he still goes to sleep everynight to the CD Go To Sleep Jeff. Well we look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Jennifer McLendon.

    Hi Keren,

I live in Woburn, Massachusetts, which is about a half hour north of Boston.  I have 3 daughters 5,7 and 9.  They also enjoy learning about other families around the world.  Sports, nature and family outings sre just a few things we enjoy doing.  I love to write as do they and would be interested in both email and snail mail.  Let me know if you are interested, looks like you got quite a few responses.  Thanks

    Holly

Hello Keren!  We're a new to this site homeschool family, and I am also looking for new friends.  My girls are 13, 12, 10 1/2.  (Eleanor's totem animal is the sulfur crested cockatoo, and Odessa's is the platypus.)  If you would like to write to me, I would be interested to hear more about your family and how you homeschool.  Feel free to send an email to me!  :)  Niki

I'm a homeschooling mom as well. At the moment my oldest son (who is 10) is studying Australia. He's really interested in the wildlife you have there. My other two kids are a 9 year old girl and 4 year old boy.

Re: Australian family - Mum and daughters wishing to write to another family anywhere in the world

    Hi Debra,

My 10 year old daughter is hoping to find a Canadian girl to correspond with over the next few weeks (and beyond, we hope!), as part of a homeschool geography project.  There are 8 kids in our group, and we'll be learning about North America over the next 6 weeks or so.  My daughter is hoping to find a Canadian ePal to learn first-hand about Canadian life.  We'd love to be able to share information about us, and about the US (at least our part of it) and to ask questions about life in Canada.  My daughter is an avid reader, loves animals (we're also studying animal biology this year, particularly birds), any snow sports, & being outside (when she puts down her book, that is).  Her partner in this little project skiis and plays chess.  If your daughter would like to correspond with us, we'd really look forward to hearing from you!

    Carla

    Dear Keren

Had sent a "quick post", but not entirely sure it went through. My apologies for not getting back sooner. Going to use the excuse of technical difficulties. Don't know how else to say that I'm a computer novice and didn't follow through with my profile to get an address for both Kate and I. How lucky for me I have a 10 year old to show me how to do these things lol. We haven't forgotten you and hope to have an address shortly so that we can begin exchanging letters.

    Take care

    Debra

Re: Australian family - Mum and daughters wishing to write to another family anywhere in the world

    Dear Keren,

So sorry not to have replied quicker. I'm afraid I don't have an approved profile yet so now that I've figured out how to do that I should have an address for both myself and Kate shortly.  We're just starting winter here and have had our first snowfall (mind you it's mostly ice) so Kate is excited to share that. I hope this site allows us to post pictures. Haven't fogotten you, please be patient with me while I try to figure out all this computer stuff.

    Take care

    Debra
