In my community, we recycle paper. Every class has a recycling bin and we put unused paper inside of it.

In my school we use laundry baskets to put paper in. Then people come and pick it up.

Yes we do we leave bins outside and a truck goes around and picks up our bins. They are for bottles and other recycled things. They give us our bins back. This is in Michigan.

In my neighborhood we have a regular dumpster for your trash and on the side of the dumpster we have a recycle bin for plastic, aluminum, glass, and newspapers. Most of the neighborhood recycles although there are a few lazy people who just put it all in one bag and throw it in the dumpster. But as long as the people who do recycle continue it will help out a lot.

In Washington, at schools and local community places. There are blue bins for recycling and green for trash. At school we also compost and recycle.

Well, our school lunch room uses plastic milk bottles and we have to put them in recycle bins. We also have green bins in our classroom to put paper and other reusable things into.

My family is trying to make our planet cleaner. We remember 3 R-s: reduce, reuse and recycle.

Firstly, we reduce the consumption of electricity and water.  We switch off the light in the room when we leave it. There aren’t leaking faucets in our house.

Secondly, we reuse plastic bags, bottles, glass bottles and jars.

Thirdly, we give old papers, metal, plastic and glass bottles for recycling. Paper recycling helps to save our forest, metal recycling helps to save natural resources, plastic and glass recycling helps to keep our planet clean.

If everybody remembers 3 R-s we can avoid ecological catastrophe.

I do live in the country, but in Los Angeles County. Our trash company used to pick up recycling, but then they stopped. My parents have to drive the recycling to various places.

Do you live out in the country?  Or in a city area?  We have trucks that come by and pick up recycling.

We use bins to recycle which are picked up once a week by the county garbage men.  We also have a compost pile.

Many people in our town don't recycle either! We try, but it's hard when there aren't very many places to drop off recycling.
