Re: Seeking students (6 to 9 years old) from Australia and New Zealand for TWWA Project

    Hi Karen D

I teach a class of 7 to 10 year olds in a rural community in New Zealand. We would be keen to correspond with your class and be part of this project. The children are keen to have individual ePals. I have never been involved in this project but am keen to learn along with my class. There are 19 children in my class. A longer time frame would suit us better. Our email is kphelps@epals.com

    Thanks

    Karen Phelps

Seeking students (6 to 9 years old) from Australia and New Zealand for TWWA Project

We are located in Upstate New York ~ Fingerlakes Region ... and would like to participate in The Way We Are Project with students in New Zealand or Australia.     In the past, this has been a wonderful experience for our students!    This year, there are 27 students in my Third Grade class, ages 7 & 8 years old.   Please let me know if you would like to communicate by e-mail  and/or  to send items by "regular postal mail" and how long you would like to have a project.   Some years, we had a one to two week project... and other years, we communicated for 1, 2, or 3 months.  We have been fortunate to interact with classes from both Australia and New Zealand, and we had different numbers of students, and ages that ranged from 5 years to 10 years old.  Please let me know how you would like to design the project.  We are Very Excited to participate in this Project!
