Why do you go to school almost everyday? We go Monday through Friday. That is all. I get up at 7:30 am and school starts at 9:30 for me. I get out at 4:00.

Hi, I'm an American student in Miami, Florida. Here people love to fly RC planes and helicopters. The weather is pretty windy so no one is flying, but I still see some big RC planes in the air. I have a helicopter of my own but I'm a beginner. I love hearing from other people in other places that like this hobby. Epals are awsome.

Hi.  I'm an American student in Colorado.  My class is just now starting ePals.  I wanted to see if it works when I reply to your message.  Very interesting reading about being a Chinese student.

Re: Hobbies, culture and lifestyle in China and around the world

I'm from Kentucky, in the United States of America. In my free time I like to go hangout with friends or listen to music. I don't play any sports, but my favorite sport to watch is football!
Here, students are very blunt, often rude. We're a very diverse school, full of very opinionated students.  School here doesn't start till 8:00 and ends at 3:25pm. We don't have school on Saturday's or Sunday's. Life here is actually pretty fun and depending on how you choose, very laid back.
We're a democracy here and the government gets their power from the American people.

Hobbies, culture and lifestyle in China and around the world

Hi, I`m a Chinese and I`d like to share different hobbies, culture and lifestyle with people from all over the world.

I like listening to music in my free time.also, every week I watch Detective Conan, which I`ve been interested in since I was in primary school. My favorite sport is basketball, but our school hasn`t set up a basketball club for girls yet. What do you do in your free time?

We`re not very open-minded and we usually think "a good student"mainly means a person who often gets good grades, which makes me annoyed. In fact, many of those "good students" even don`t know their classmates` names after one semester just because they are concentrate on their studies!

I usually get up at 5:50am and go to school at 6:30. We have 5 classes in the morning. My favorite subject are English and art, then is physics. One thing I don`t like is that we don`t do the project such as doing a survey in the textbook, we just do much practice with our pens. I take the school bus to go home at 9:30, for Saturday it`s 9:00. We have Sunday-off half half a month, the other Sundays we have Sunday-afternoons off. In one world, life can be really busy here. What`s your attitude towards your lifestyle?

I hope we can communicate and know more about different things in different countries. It can be really interesting and helpful.
