Hello, I am a teacher in the Pittsford Central School District.  Pittsford is in the state of New York close to Rochester. I teach art at an elementary school and am looking for a class of 19 students ages 10-11 in a European country.  My art projects are heavily based on art history; this year we are discussing the Middle Ages.  So Germany would be a great fit.  It would be great if your children would be willing to connect with my class and discuss what medieval art work exists in their environment.  In exchange my students could talk about topics such a Thanksgiving.  There also is a rich history here in Rochester such as the development of the camera through George Eastman, we have the International Museum of Play here and Susan B. Anthony and Fredric Douglas have lived in Rochester.  Let me know what you think and whether you are interested.

I'm a teacher in Wedel, Germany, and I have a 6th grade, 19 pupils, ages 11-12. We will start with our project on the US in the third week of November, and we would like to write once a week. Our topics will be food, Thanksgiving and a story we will read, but the most important thing would be to write regularly and just get to know someone from a different country and cultural background.
