    Re: Books vs Movies?

Books can be fun. But movies give you more info.

    Re: Books vs Movies

I think books are a lot better than movies. With books you can use your imagination.

    Re: Books vs Movies

I think both are good. But I go with books because movies take too long. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules took 3 hours. I don't want to brag but I can read that book in 2 hours.

    Re: Books vs Movies

I think that books are better than movies. I like to sometimes to see the movies after the book but I do not do that a lot. Books are better because when you read a book you get to picture the background and characters yourself! When you see the movie and then read the book your creativity is spoiled because you know what the characters look like from the movie and that's the way picture them. I say that you should read the book first.

I think that books are better because books are like movies in your head.

I think for Harry Potter, the movies are better because I personally think it hurts your eyes when you read. LOL

    Re: Books vs Movies

I like books much better as well!  Your imagination can go more places and more things can happen in a book.

I think films are better because you see it going on. But if you read the book first it is better.

    Re: Books vs Movies

I say books are way better than the movies without a doubt. More detail and descriptions in books.

Hi Misty, my name is Ghazi and I think they are both the same because movies are cool and funny and you get to see someone that looks like a person in the book, like Daniel Radcliffe. He looks like the Harry on the cover. I think books do the same, they can be hard to understand and it would be hard to imagine the character but I think they both get the same grade. This is my opinion.

    Re: Books vs Movies

I like the books better, because the movies put in different parts that I didn't read in the book. There are some movies that I think are better than the book, like The Blind Side.

    Re: Books vs Movies

Books or movies?  I can't really decide.  I think it depends on what book it is.  Books are amazing because then you get to imagine the characters how you want, but on the other hand, movies are great too.  If you don't understand something in a book, the movies can help you.

I agree books are fun. There is more teaching. Books take you to a whole other world.
