Well... we are doing world geography as a curriculum theme throughout the year, so I was considering starting off September with where are we right now. Kind of a - where are we presently and how does it impact us. As a small, remote island, our location impacts us tremendously in very obvious ways.

Conversely, un-related to curriculum, we have alot of old-timers that moved to the island generations ago who love to tell stories, and we may go down that road.

I'm completely open to ideas... what were you thinking?

Hi Caroline, 

I have small classes of ESL middle school students and I would be interested in doing a digital storytelling project with them.  What programs were you thinking of using?  Do you have any topics in mind?

We are so small! Don't let that hold you back, we are looking to connect with another classroom for the digital storytelling starting in September. We are a rural school in Washington State and would be interested in either a United States connection or a global connection, Spanish speaking would be ok too.
