Dear Zach: No, Island isn't the best book in the world, and maybe you're right, people would love to be in a world like Harry's. However if you don't like fantasy (though what else would you call the Hobbit if not fantasy), it is definitely not the book for you. Have you read it, though? I dont think I personally like it because of that. It's more like I feel and think a lot like Harry, and people have always told me I look a whole lot like him, even strangers on the street! So I think I feel more like a strong attachment to Harry, more than anything else. PS. Hobbit and Lord of the Rings are the best. I'm glad you agree! Oh and is Monte Cristo really good? I've always wanted to read that book.

Dear Attila, I have to totally disagree with you that Island of the Blue Dolphins is the best book in the world because you talk about plot and I didn't think it had much of one and Harry Potter is o.k. if you're 5 years old. The only reason why 90% of the planet loves it is because its based on a world everybody else wishes they lived in, even though there is no such world. My personal favorites are the Count of Monte Cristo, Of Mice and Men, The Pearl, The Grapes of Wrath (once you get into it), Treasure Island, and last but definitely not least The Hobbit.

That's funny! Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter are my favorites! Actually, Harry Potter is liked because it has an interesting plot to it, and it leaves you waiting for the next one. It doesn't reveal the secret till the end, and Artemis Fowl was cool because of technology mixed with fairies. I thought it was really good. From Attila, canada.

I think I seriously disagree with you, Island of the Blue Dolphins was for me one of the best. I think it was beautifully written. from Attila, Canada.

Hi Paige, I totally agree with you about Harry Potter. What's the big hype? I've read better books. Also, they are so cheesy with all the merchandise and people making such a big fuss. I think the worst books though would have to be A Series of Unfortunate Events. They are so dumb! Anyway, I know loads of you won't agree so I am so sorry if I insulted anyone (honestly) Signing Out * Claire *

I don't really have a "worst" book but there's one I read that wasn't very good. I don't think it's very well known but it's called A College Of Magics. So boring. And what is wrong with Ella Enchanted and Harry Potter? I think they are very creative works of fantasy. But I think the Lord Of the Rings is on a whole new level compared to those two. See you

Harry Potter is probably the second best not the second worst. I can't rightly say what is the best because I love so many books. Anyway, in my opinion, Island of the Blue Dolphins might be second worst and Great Expectations is probably the worst. I couldn't get past the first chapter in either of them.

Hey Harry Potter is not that bad but the real worst book is A Series of Unfortunate Events.

My opinion of the worst book in the world is probably Ella Enchanted. I couldn't get through it. My favorite book is Fire Bringer, or The Sight - both by David Clement-Davies. I don't get why all these people are crazy about Harry Potter. I mean, they're okay, but no better than Ms. Piggle-Wiggle.

    Worst book in the world?

Personaly I'd have to say that Artemis Fowl is the worst. I could barely get past the first chapter. Maybe the second worst is Harry Potter because it is weird. I mean people only like it because they want to be wizards so they can cast spells on people. But this is what I think, what do you think?
