I have never read Artemis Fowl, but I love Harry Potter. I think the worst book is Whittington, but I read the whole thing because I had to read it for Battle of the Books for school!

I am sorry but I have to dissagree with you there. Island of the Blue dolphins is a really good book. It was well written and it is a very interesting book. It keeps the reader wanting to come back to it. If you think other wise you should reconsider about the book. Reconsider, Andrew

I thought that "The Pearl" by John Steinbeck was horrible. If I didn't have to read it in class, I would have put it down on the first chapter. I couldn't really get into the Artemis Fowl books, either. I tried reading them three years ago and didn't like them. But then again, I don't like fantasy but I do like Harry Potter. Those books are awesome! No, I don't like them because I would like to do magic or whatever. But I think the author can really write interesting material. No one has really written what she's writing about. That's just my opinion, though!

Hey I'm Klarisa. In my opinion the worst book in the world is Hatchet. It's just so blah. Throughout the book it talks about him (sorry I don't remember the character's name) being in the forest and well I'm more into mystery or books that take place in a high school because they seem more modern. Another book that's kind of boring is Charlotte's Web. We've been forced to read it in elementary so many times that I lost intrest in it. Oh yes, I totally agree that Harry Potter is the worst because it's just about witchcraft. Plus I don't understand a word they are saying! Oh well, those are my opinions. Later, Klari

Kate, I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but the book that I probably least like is Witch of Blackbird Pond. If I had read it on my own, I probably would have liked it, but we read it for class and my teacher wouldn't stop going on and on about the evil of the Puritans and how delicate was the balance of the love between of John and whats-his-face (the crippled one) and she wouldn't stop repeating all the same history and telling us the same meaning over and over and over again. She kept talking about the Charter Oak and didn't tell us a thing about Hallow's Eve. Well, that's just my opinion. Lillian

Actually, if you can't get past the first chapter of the first book, try reading the second. It's better than the first. Plus, these books are awesome and if you can't digest them, read the Princess Diaries. I'm sorry if I sound rude. The worst book, in my opinion, is any of the Famous Fives.
