Re: 11-13 year olds available for Global Warming Project: United States

Hi Joe - I have a class of 22 sixth grade students - I was hoping to start the project about mid-september, and hopefully carry it out through the year. Just off the top of my head - doing a lesson/part of the project once a week.  Culminating with some kind of live interaction via skype?

We are on summer holidays - we start back on September 2, 2008.

    What are your thoughts?

    Stephen

Hello Joe, I have a class of 30 sixth grade students from San Jose, California. This class has been with each other for a year and will begin the year ready and charged to learn. Our theme for the year is "Go Green," hoping to develop a service project that will help our earth. This would be a wonderful introduction lesson to begin in September or October. We'd love to participate and communicate with you! Please respond! Thanks, Sheryl L. Melo

11-13 year olds available for Global Warming Project: Australia

Hi all, I have a class of 26 Year 6 and 7 students (11 to 13 years old) from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia who would be interested in participating in the Global Warming project with other similarly-aged students from overseas. We are particularly interested in classrooms from India, China, US or UK. Cheers. Joe Perkins.
