Hello, I teach English in France to Year 7s who are between 12 and 13. They are keen on learning English as a second language but writing is still difficult.

I also have the opportunity to set up a "club" for corresponding with other classes and so they can exchange with other classes from all over the world once a week.  They can communicate using the internet : email writing, forums. What I would like them to do is write first about who they are and tell what they do at school or outside school, then if they can find a possible match, I would like them to exchange through common projects (quite general ones : family, environment, etc) Recently they have been working on Christmas and so they could write about what they did at school on that theme.
