    Re: Preteen Partners, United States

Hi, I am currently teaching life science in a middle school in New Jersey, US. I am working on my doctoral thesis right now and I will be researching the effectiveness of online communication in promoting cultural awareness. I would love to have my students (12 years of age) communicate with you. Could you tell me a bit about the types of discussions that go on? I am trying to develop a pre and post survey for students to see measure the effectiveness of web-based discussions. Thanks for your enthusiasm in bringing children closer together. Marilyn S.

    Re: Preteen Partners, Russia

Hello! My name is Veronika. I am a teacher of English in Russian school. I teach different students: 11-12 years old – they have been studied English for a year, 13-14 - they have been studied English for 3 years. In different classes they can discuss different problems. We live in Russia and can tell you something about our culture. We also live in Udmurt Republic and have our language, traditions and customs. Give us some questions about our culture and we will ask you some questions too. When can we start our project? Thank you.

    objet: Preteen Partners, Canada

Bonjour. Jacinthe
