Maps are important to our daily life.  Everyday, I look at the weather map to find out what the weather will be like.  Political maps show boundaries between cities, states and countries. I use political maps when going from one place to another.  Climate maps help you understand what an area's weather will be like but also gives you understanding in how the people there may live.

We need maps to locate ourselves on the planet.

How would you check the elevation and the population all at once on a map?

I think every map have its field...like climate map show us about the climate of every place in the world...depend on what we need, we find the map which suits with our aim...uhm, something like that..

First of all, we need different types of maps to tell us different things.  If you need to get from your house to South Dakota you need a map that shows roads not a climate map which helps you see the avrage weather patterns in one area.  You also wouldn't use a physical map which would show you different elevations of mountains and valleys. We need these maps so we can learn things about the world or city we live in.

We use different types of maps to help find specific things such as landmarks, climates, & state boundary’s. a climate map helps use find a hot region  or a cold region or a political map to help find the border to a different country and a physical to find a landmark.

I think we need different types of maps so that we can see where different things are. I think that they help us understand more about different cultures and different places.

I think that they help us in many ways. For example climate maps help us see what kind of climates other places have.

We also need different maps to know different cultrures and how different people live. If we didn't have these maps then we wouldn't know where anything is and we wouldn't know how to get to certain places.

We need different maps for many reasons. One of those reasons is, so that we can tell different things about a certain region.

–Example: We need to be able to know the population, climate, elevation,political aspects , ect.of a region, but the problem is that you can’t put all of those things on one map. That is why we need to have different types of maps.

Oh and I forgot that you can use maps to tell if it will rain, what elevation is like, where cities and raods are, how crowded an area is and so much more.

Hey. We are also doing a map prgect. One of the things that maps help you with is how people live because of their enivorment. You can tell all things like if they are by a lake they might fish. Or if they live near the mountains they might not ave a good spot for growing things. There are a lot of ways that you can do things like that all that you have to do is think about what you have near you and how it impacts your life. I hope that your project goes well.

We need different types of maps for various reasons. We need them to show us the information that we need to know. We use Physical Maps to show us the mountains, where rivers are located and also lakes. We use Political Maps for seeing states, borders, and capitals. We also use Climate Maps for looking at weather such as, rain, wind, humid continental, and if you are looking to see the dew point or other things, then you would use a Climate Map. We need these maps to help us with or locatons and items that are shown on these maps. They effect us on or lives and where we live, and if we were to move somewhere or even go on a vacation somewhere then you are wanting to see what is ahead of your move or vacation.
