Re: Water use and quality - Lake Michigan: Argentina

    Hello Maria -

We are well back in school now.  Should we discuss working on a project together?

    Thanks

    Tom

hi tom! In two week´s time we´ll also be out of school but our recess is shorter! we´ll be back by mid-august, so we´ll probably be working on the project at the same time. Enjoy your holidays and let´s keep in touch. Maria Elena

Hello Marie - Unfortunately we will be out of school until September 1st. We will be working on the project at that time however. If I could be of any help before then, please let me know. Thanks Tom

Hello! Are you still working on the project? I teach ESL in a rural school in Argentina.I work with 16-17 year-olds. They are just 14 upper-intermediate students. I'm planning to start working on the project in 2 weeks.I would like to connect them to your school. thanks

Water use and quality - Lake Michigan, United States

My name is Tom Hinken and I work with 100 7th graders in Montague Michigan. We live on the shores of Lake Michigan, and also a smaller lake called White Lake that has a history of misuse and is now recovering. Our government is currently looking at ways to protect the Great Lakes from pollution and overuse. We'd love to connect with schools from other areas of the world to compare how water is used and to create solutions to over use and pollution. The schools we connect with could be schools located in areas with an abundance of water, or they could be schools located in areas with water shortages. Regards, Tom Hinken thinken66@epals.com
