    Re:Death's Day / Hallowe'en, USA

Ivette- I wanted to let you know that we did receive the beautiful flag that you sent our class. We learned so much from all of the information that you sent. It would be much easier to receive the information in English, though so that it does not have to be translated. The students are not well versed in Spanish yet as we are mostly learning about culture right now. Did you receive our package yet? It was sent awhile ago. We will be sending a Hallowe'en package at the end of next week. Are you still planning on sending something to us? I look forward to hearing from you. Patti white River elementary school

    Re:Death's Day / Hallowe'en, USA

I am a kindergarten teacher in Florida (5 and 6 year olds) and I have the ESOL class this year. Some of my students are from Mexico and most speak Spanish. I wanted to do some work on Death's Day with my students so I would love to get involved. Email me at ozgirl@epals.com I can have some of my parents who speak and write Spanish to write a letter in Spanish to go along with the art work. Cheers Janine McGrath

Hi, I'd love to work with you. I'm a Spanish teacher in New Jersey. I have about 125 students ranging in age from 13-15. It would be great to exchange in English and Spanish. Let me know! Thanks, Terry

Hola Ivette! I am a Spanish teacher in the New Jersey, USA. I have 125 students ranging in ages 13-15. I would love to coordinate with you for this project. We don't celebrate the "Day of the Dead" here but we do celebrate Hallowe'en. I think it would be great to exchange projects. Do your students read and understand English? Can I have my students write in Spanish? They are mostly 1st year learners so it wouldn't be great Spanish but I know the exchange would be awesome. Let me know! Thanks, Terry
