Re: Host our teddy bear? USA

    Hello Geiry,

Thank you for your reply to my forum post. My bear, however, has a full schedule for the 2008-2009 school year. He will be (if there is time) visiting 5 different countries. I don't think I should schedule another visit for this year. Thanks for your interest and best of luck to you.

    Hello Karen,

I am a teacher in Brazil and we would love to host your bear. My students would love to take him to nice places and show him our culture and customs. Please let me know if we can join your project.

    Thanks,

    Geiry

Re: Host our teddy bear? Puerto Rico

    Dear Liz and Everyone!

Hi, we've just started a project to launch and track teddy bears around the world, and make it as easy as ABC to see what teddy is up to and where they are in the world. Please see www.wheresmyteddy.com for a few examples. One of our bears - Bill Bear - was only launched a few months ago but has already visitied around eleven countries and traveled more than 44,000 miles! If you want to get your school involved, please email us and we'll send you a free pass to get going! email us at memberservices@wheresmyteddy.com and we promsie to help you out for free as long as you spread the word about our little project a bit!

    Kind regards,

    Michael

Re: Host our teddy bear? Australia

Hi Karen, I am about to begin a similar project with a group of children aged 5-9 (15 in total). We would love to host your bear if you would be prepared to host ours (not sure if it will be a platypus, koala, possum)!! I am looking to work with a teacher who is willing to work with me developing similar experiences with both bears, but with cultural interpretation and (hopefully) twists! We would be looking for weekly email correspondance beginning 12th of August (I'm happy if that's just with you until your students arrive to start the new school year!) If you are intersted, I will be thrilled! I'm looking to get this project up and running ASAP. Best wishes from chilly Oz, Alicia. aliscott@epals.com

    Host our teddy bear? USA

After a very successful trip around the world last year, our first grade bear is ready for new adventures! In August this lucky bear will be going to Australia! I am looking for other enthusiastic teachers and classes that will host him throughout the school year. I would like him to leave again soon after he returns from Australia. He travels with a journal and a passport. We are particularly interested in learning more about China, Japan, France, Morocco, Italy, Mexico, or Canada. If you are interested in this project, please respond with your epals email address.
