    Wataru H:

Hello. This is my first email to send. I'm a teacher working at a Japanese junior high school. I teach English to students aged 12-15. Like you, I've been looking for a teacher abroad to talk about various educational issues. I'm a teacher of English, so have a great interest in how language instruction is organized and carried away at school. If there is something you can think of about it, please let me know. Thanks! Wataru-kun

    Re: Communication , Nepal

    Hello,

My name is Nurada and I'm from Lithuania. I'm a school teacher. I teach 10,11 years old children. I've been teaching them only for one year, so I can say that this job is rather challenging. But I like it. What is your occupation? Do you teach privately ?

    Kind regards,

    Nurada

Re: Communication with other teachers, USA

Hi, Laurie! Hi, everyone! I teach English in a philanthropic school in Brazil; the school is situated in a rather poor area, and my pupils are aged from 11-18. Despite this, they're very optimistic about learning English, because most movies and songs they're fond of are originally in English; therefore, I'm very proud of them for their hardwork and determination.

Well, I'd love to get in touch and share information with you. My students have just started a research project on Cultural Diversity, so it will be really nice if anyone could provides us with any information about the cultural aspects of other countries.

I looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Regards,

    Carla

Hello! My name's Gosia and I live in Poland, in central Europe. I'm an English teacher but I'm personally interested in meeting different people from different countries all around the world. I'd like to exchange ideas, views, and discuss current global issues as well as problems people have and ways of dealing with them according to various cultural background. By corresponding with adults on slightly higher level of English I also want to improve my language outside the classroom limited environment. Please write to me at www.gosia@epals.com

    Re:Communication with other teachers, Brazil

Hi, Laurie. How is it teaching in a private Catholic school? I myself taught English in rural North Carolina for three years in a public school. Right now I teach English in Brasilia and I am thinking about going back to the States and continue my career as a teacher there. Let's keep in touch. Bye. Antonio
