Hi Liz,
what do you think about preparing a little parcel with a small animal visiting the students? That's the idea behind the travel buddy project. The animal tells about the students lives.

We are a primary school based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I'm looking for either an interstate OR international school that would be interested in becoming our Travel Buddy Project partners! I am working with a multi aged group of 15 children aged 5-9 years of age (prep -2). We would be looking to start weekly email correspondance in the week beginning Aug 11th.
If you are interested, we would be very excited to hear from you!
Many thanks in advance,
Alicia.

From September on, I will teach 2 groups of 10,11 year old French students whose English will also be elementary so that would suit your class.
I don't really know what a travel buddy is but let me know ... It would be interesting to exchange in English !
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
