We are a class of 5th graders in Colorado, USA. There are 22 students in our class, and students would like to participate with small groups of students around our age (10-11 years old) from anywhere in the world. We are looking to have only small groups or individuals from various places so that we get a variety of information. My 4th grade students are "Traveling the Globe" by researching the seven continents and their countries. We are looking for schools in other countries to correspond with during our research project. Our project will end mid December with an "International Festival" including slideshows, food samples, and clothing from the various countries they are studying. Hello,

We are situated in a small town in New Brunswick, Canda. I have a class of approximately 24 students (10/11/12 yr olds). We just finished some introductory work on a culture based unit. We are very interested in completing this project (with flexibility) with an overseas classroom. I am open to changing/adding some details to assignments and final projects. I think this would be an excellent opportunity for our students to explore culture around the world.

Hi I'm Megan from New Zealand and I am looking for some children to join us in "The Way We Are" project. I have approx 30 children in my class and they are aged between 8 - 10 years. We live in Gisborne (the first city in the world to see the sun each day, as we are the most Eastern city in the world). Epals is new to me, but I can see the children will get a lot out of corresponding with children from other countries. We start back for the new school year on Feb 2nd. I have 50-60 students in the 7th grade who are examining the topic of citizenship this year. I am looking to make connections with classrooms within the world. I would like my students to understand what it means to be a citizen all over the world. I look forward to hearing from other classrooms. Hi there! I am a high school teacher in Bartow County, Georgia. I am trying to find ePals for my students for a project. My students are between the ages of 15 and 17 and need to expand their mind about what exists in the world outside of the United States. Many of my students would be interested in keeping their ePal when the project is completed. I am an elementary computer teacher from Upstate New York. I have 20 - 3rd graders in each of 4 classes. I would like to connect with 4 different classrooms from 4 different countries to start the ePals "The Way We Are" email exchange. Our goal is to start in January after the Christmas vacation. I tried this project last year, setting up ePal email accounts for each of my 3rd grade students and they loved it, so I'd like to try again this year with my new 3rd graders.

14-18 years old from Mexico looking for TWWA partners from Europe, Asia and Africa

I work at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico. I'm interested in the Project The Way We Are. My students are between 15 and 17 years old. I have 2 groups of 45 each. They are beginners. They speak Spanish and they are learning English. I would like to work by e-mail according to the Project. It would be good to work with students from Europe, Asia or Africa to share our culture and values. We would send 4 emails during the first 2 weeks of December.

2 e-mails per week or on the other hand we could talk about it. We could continue working next year with the students next semester too if you wish.
