We are located in Upstate New York ~ Fingerlakes Region ... and would like to participate in The Way We Are Project with students in New Zealand or Australia. In the past, this has been a wonderful experience for our students! This year, there are 27 students in my Third Grade class, ages 7 & 8 years old. Please let me know if you would like to communicate by e-mail and/or to send items by "regular postal mail" and how long you would like to have a project. Some years, we had a one to two week project... and other years, we communicated for 1, 2, or 3 months. We have been fortunate to interact with classes from both Australia and New Zealand, and we had different numbers of students, and ages that ranged from 5 years to 10 years old. Please let me know how you would like to design the project. We are Very Excited to participate in this Project!

Video project about TWWA, Spain

Hi,

I teach a group of 3 students aged 14 in Spain. We are willing to start a video about The Way we Are, about 10-20 minutes long. It should be like a short documentary done entirely by our students as a group talking about and showing our traditions, school, food, etc. and we would like to share it with other classes in exchange for their videos.

Our goal is to share a first class to class email, then partner students to students through monitored accounts. We have already begun work on our digital project which is the final step in the program and can't wait to find a school to partner with.
