In Russia Christmas isn't celebrated the way it's celebrated in America. For us, It's quite, religious and family holiday. There are divine services in all regions of Russia.

We have another big Holiday - New Year. It's celebrated with fireworks, countdown before New Year's coming. All of Russians buy a presents for his families, and at night, when the children are sleeping, they put the presents under New Year tree (It's like Christmas tree in USA and Europe). Parents tell the children that it was Grandfather Frost (Like Santa at Europe and USA).
