Hi, I'm Mariah and I think that uniforms might be good or bad. They're good because some people might not afford some clothes. They're bad because people should express themselves more with free dress code.

Wearing uniforms takes away your uniqueness. But I wear uniforms at my school. It is also a good thing because if your clothes are clothes that you would be made fun of in you wouldn't want to wear them.

I honestly think that uniforms are good. Uniforms make it so that you don't have to think about what to wear. Also people can't be jealous of your clothes because you are all wearing the same ones! :)

What's up!! My name is Helena and I'm from Catalonia, Spain. In my school we don't have to wear uniforms, but we have a tracksuit for the days that we have P.E. I like that we don't have to wear uniforms because all the people can wear the clothes that they want. But I also support that at home and in the street you can wear the clothes that you want, but to go to school you have to wear appropriate clothes because there are teachers and more people than in your house. I think that uniforms have a good part: people cannot say that one person is better dressed than another person because all the people wear the same clothes! :-P

I think uniforms are ok but you should have more than one choice.

I think we should wear uniforms because it shows that we are a school and it unites us and shows that we are a team. If we all wore different clothes we would look a bit silly.

I believe that uniforms are not necessary for schools to have. I have been in schools with and without uniforms and I find that they are no help to the actual education of the students. Although it does prevent children from wearing inappropriate clothes or bullying due to clothes. It also can block a potential way for a child to express their personality and opinions which can ultimately harm a developing child.

I think the same thing about uniforms at school - they are okay.  But sometimes, I wish they were different colors so they looked better.

Hey, my name is Zaynah I'm in the United States, but originally from Trinidad and Tobago.  I totally agree with you.  If there were not any uniforms in school, there would possibly be bullying in the school.  It feels wonderful to just feel free and not be teased about clothes.  It's nice to have order in school.
