I remember a long time ago girls didn't get to do a lot of things like vote and that was changed. I have a friend who wants to be a Womens National Soccer player and I support her 100% because I love soccer too and I want to be in it too. If girls didn't get to play soccer us girls would be miserable.

Soccer is awesome. I played right forward too and right defender. It's a really fun sport.

I've played soccer since I was young and I play for my school. I play right forward and right mid-field.

I have a t shirt that says on the front: "The difference between boys and girls soccer?" On the back, it says: "Girls make it look good." I love this shirt and definitely think that you have to be a tough girl to play, but that doesn't mean you are a tomboy. It just means you are tough.

I have been playing soccer for a long time and I don't think it is a boys sport! And no, if you play soccer it does not mean you are a tom boy. I play and I am a girly girly. I think soccer is more a girls sport than anything. More girls play it than boys. Maybe on TV it seems that way.

Girls should not be called tomboys because soccer is a game for everyone to enjoy.

Hi, I'm Daniel.  I think that soccer isn't for boys - I think that soccer is for everybody as long as it's fun.  I think you are right - sometimes my brothers do that to me.  I like to let everybody play and do everything they like.  I think that it is realy important to be good and sportive, so keep playing.

Hello, I am a girl, and I play soccer on a girls team and I do lots of girly things outside of it, so you shouldn't be considered a tom boy to be honest. People just like to think that, and they are wrong for saying so.

I live in Israel, and I think that even though my opinion probably sounds chauvinistic, it's kind of true. Soccer may be very popular for women who live in USA, but I think that it's a little weird to play soccer as a girl. Soccer is a rough sport that requires a lot of physical presence, and unless you are playing a game of 11 VS 11 girls, it will be very hard to play against a man's team, or even a mixed one.

Girls can play soccer as much as thay want, but I think as follows:

A. It's kind of weird that a girl will become a professional soccer player, because it's very competitive to marry a woman who can be stronger than you.

B. I heard an opinion that says that girls in USA are getting over excited and saying that they can win professional man teams like Manchester United and FCB (Barcelona). Girls can play soccer as long as they don't get carried away and try to compete against professional guys.

Well, to conclude, I guess soccer is a game for both guys and girls, and I think that they both can play and no one should laugh at a girl who wants to play soccer.
