I am definitely interested as I teach students who are in your same age range and need to work on their writing skills. I teach in the U.S.A., California to be exact. How many students do you have? Hi Judy:

Did you find a class to work with, yet?  My students are learning Spanish in Maine, and we are reading Pobre Ana.  It's a short book about a girl from CA, who studies Spanish and lives in Mexico for a short time.  If your students could correspond in Spanish to my students and include that Mexican-American, West Coast cultural component...I think that would be fantastic! My students are at Level 1.

I teach 9th grade in California.  We are looking for other classes to communicate with on a variety of topics.  My students are 1st generation Mexican-Americans, and, although I don't speak Spanish, I think they would enjoy communicating in Spanish with your students.  They could share a lot about the Mexican-American culture.
