It lowers my FPS (frames per second) by about 80.

Let me just say, I dislike macs. Vista runs on windows, which I like, but the format of it makes it feel like a mac because it is a lot less manuverable.

I agree it is very helpful. So are some of the others such as XP and Windows 95. There are ups and downs for both. But I think computers have come a long way and Vista is definitely one of the best.

I like the appearance but I think that Windows XP has more options such as desktop theme backgrounds. It also has more freedom online. Overall I like Vista and XP about the same.

I think that Windows Vista is so much more helpful and not as tricky.

Hello my name is Johnny. I am from the United States. I think that vista is horrible. It is a very slow system. My brother has it on his lap top and he hates it. Also I used it and the internet was very slow on it, but on my laptop that doesn't have vista the internet was very fast.

Windows Vista is pretty looking with all the clean and shiny stuff, but it's slower and has much more viruses than Windows XP.

I dislike the entire Windows OS. I use Linux as my main OS, and sometimes Apple. Unfortunately, since my schools network runs on Windows, I am forced to use it everyday :( I try to avoid it as much as I can, though.

One reason I don't like Windows is that it is not Open Source, meaning that the source code that makes up the Windows Operating System is not open to anyone who wants to edit or view it. With Linux, the source code is free and open, so you can change the kernel to fit your needs.

I agree that Windows Vista stinks. Windows XP runs so much better. But on a higher note, Ubuntu beats Windows and Mac. I put Ubuntu on a 1.6ghz, 125 ram machine, and it ran fine.

I agree Mac is better than Windows on a virus scale, but Windows Vista is absolute garbage. If you are going to get a "next-gen" OS, wait for Windows 7 to come out. They were handing out betas a while back but Microsoft only gave them to the first 2,500,000 people. The beta runs very good on my small Acer Aspire One so it definitely beats Vista hands down. I have to us VMWare to run the beta though, so it's not running at full speed. In the end, Windows 7 will beat all when it's released.

When I had a PC I did not like Vista. I got an Apple Macintosh and the software on the Mac is better. That's my opinion.

I agree that Vista is good and better than XP. It has some cool things that you can use and is much easier to use. 

Compared to Vista, I think the Mac is a lot better.  A  Mac looks,feels, and acts better than a PC.  Plus, you can download vista on a Mac.

I do not like Windows Vista. You should have to reformat your hard drive!
