Re: What do you think of Windows Vista?

I do not like it because it is very slow and buggy. I think Windows 7 and XP are far superior.

Everyone says to me that it's terrible, but I think it's actually pretty good! Now, I have Windows 7 and I think it's better than Vista except for ONE thing: You can't use Windows Movie Maker!

I've never had Windows Vista, but I have used it at friend's houses. I have Windows 7 on my computer, which is amazing.

I think it is great! If there is an error that causes a crash, it will try to find out why it crashed and tell you how to fix it, or at least help prevent it in the future. For example, the first night I got mine I managed to crash windows twice in the same night, and it told me what I did wrong both times (one was accidental, my flash drive made the HDD arm jump). Not to mention XP can't seem to run a certain file in my 3-D graphics program, but it runs just fine at home on Vista. I get kind of depressed when I come back to school because they only have XP installed. All in all, I think Vista is pretty great! I can't wait to try out Windows 7!

I have Windows Vista too. It is quite slow but it has a good layout and I like it. It just needs to speed up a bit.

I think that Windows Vista is really good, as it is really easy to use and great for understanding. Windows 7 is out now, which some of my friends have and it seems very simple and great to use as well :) x

Hi, I'm Janusz and I'm from Poland. I agree with David, Vista is the wrong choice. It is very slow, but it has good graphics. I like Windows 7 too. This system is fast and good!

Hi, I'm David and I'm from Portugal. I agree a little with Johnny, vista is a bad choice. Now seven is a great operating system, I have it and I recommend it to all of you. Seven is much faster than vista or xp. To the problem with the internet I recommend you install firefox, it's a browser that's much better than the others like windows explorer or google chrome. See ya!

Re: What do you think of Windows Vista?

I dislike how Windows Vista (at least, the version I'm using) has removed Microsoft Publisher. To me, that was a very useful program. I used it a lot.

I think it's terrible compared to Windows XP for gaming and stability. It still has a lot of issues. For gaming Vista requires more than XP which is just dumb, so XP is far superior.

1 word.  Glitchy.  That is what I think about Windows Vista.

I have Windows XP but I have heard that Vista is a nightmare. My cousin had Vista and her computer goes very slow. I would recomend XP better than Vista. Cnet.com's average user rating for Windows Vista Home Premium  is 3.5. Click the link to find out.

Re: What do you think of Windows Vista?

    windows vista is NOT good.

    Especially for gaming.

One of my best friends has Windows Vista and he gets lagspikes a lot.

    He says it's very annoying

Also, yea, cool stuff, BUT, compare the performance between windows xp, vista, even win 7.

I got win 7 recently. My pc is not very good but I wanted win 7 just to test them.

They decreased my FPS @ Counter-Strike: Source in comparison with XP.

Now, I can't find the way to downgrade to XP.

SO, I recommend using a slimmed edition of XP, like Windows XP Performance Edition, these are made by individuals but are worth downloading.

YOU MUST STICK TO XP GUYS!

Re: What do you think of Windows Vista?

The human eye is unable to see any differences above 60 FPS so it won't be that huge of a difference to you. Unless you had below 140 FPS in the first place and also FPS on what?
