Re: Pals for 3 children in US

    Hi, Jeni,

I have an 8y old daughter who is looking for a pen pal or ePal. She is very interested in learning about children like herself where ever they happen to be. We are from America (Chicago) and moved to Ireland two years ago. We travel back home twice a year. We know California well. I was a park ranger at Joshua Tree National Monument in 29 Palms (a long time ago) and their father was a USMC Harrier pilot in Monterrey. Living in Ireland is quite different than what we knew or could have imaginied. I am glad to say that my daughter (and her 13 year old brother) have adjusted quite well to the changes and culture. My daughter loves to read and write, sports, video games, history and remembering quirky facts like Einstein used to wipe his hands on his socks, for instance, or his theory on bees. She's a funny kid. Her stepfather is the drummer of the Irish band, The Hothouse Flowers, so all of the kids (mine and his) are really interested in music of all types. - She is learning how to play the tin whistle and will start the piano after the Christmas break. That's it. If you think that any of your kids might be interested in corresponding with her via ePals or regular post, please send me a note with your details to lcamposmoya@epals.com and I will do the same in return.

    Good night,

    Leila

My son had five year at the beginning of September, too, he would like everything as you to go to the discovery of the world and its diffferent cultures. If you want you could exchange. We are French and we live in London.

Re: Pals for 3 children in US

Hi Jeni ! I'm the mother of  an almost 6 year old daughter called Astrid and an almost 8 year old boy called Yohan. We are French and live on the French Riviera. My children would love to make new American pen friends. My son is starting English this year and since I'm an English teacher I could translate their letters into English. I could also find in my Middle school a French 12 year old student willing to communicate with your 12 year old girl. My kids love music and Yohan has been playing the piano and the drums for one year. They love swimming and drawing and Astrid loves girly things! Please don't hesitate to contact us! stephanie1974@epals.com  Bye !   Stéphanie.
