    Has your family ever moved?

Yes, our family has moved about 6 times, from Wisconsin to Illinois then back to Wisconsin then from Wisconsin to Ontario.  That's not all. We moved to a few more places in Wisconsin, while we were still there.

My parents moved for their jobs, which is kind of like you Kinza, for a better life. Even though we moved in the USA, we were still trying to get a better life. My dad quit one job to get another that had training so he could move up higher. we have moved 4 times in my life.

Yes. The first time my parents moved to Pakistan to America was for a better life. Ithink my family moved twice before I was born and three times afterwards. The reason is my dad usally finds a better house for us. I  always want to stay in Queens becaus eit is very homy.

My dad and I have moved many times and my mom and I have moved, too. My dad and I used to live in house springs with my mom until they got a divorce when I was two years old then my mom moved out to South City in a big blue home. Then me and my dad moved with my grandma for a while until my dad had a girlfriend named Beth, then we moved in with her into a townhouse. Then my dad and I moved to an apartment because he and Beth had broken up for a while. Then when he and Beth moved into another townhouse because they got back together. Then we moved into the huge house we are in now and we are going to stay there forever. Then after my mom had lived in the big blue house for about five years she was engaged and we moved with her fiancé. Then when we were all moved in and unpacked he broke off the engagement. Then my mom and I moved back into the big blue house for another like two years. Then we moved to an apartment which we live in now.

My family has moved many times, but the most life-changing move would be from Vietnam to the United States of America. We moved because my parents wanted to explore new places. Since most of my ancestors lived in Asia in Vietnam my parents wanted us to live in America, so we can learn about new places and traditions.

I've lived in my house for my whole life and it will be 12 years at this very house. My parents, when they had my brother, stayed in an aparment. After they found out I was coming they went looking for a house.  They found the house right before I was going to be born.

We moved 11 times in 10 years mostly because of educational reasons and because of my mom's job.

Both of my parents moved to the United States for job-related reasons. My dad came to America as a young and ready to work 21-year old, who had never otherwise traveled anywhere beyond Poland. Similarly, my mom came to the U.S. with my great grandmother to visit a family member, but ended up staying here in America to work and make money for a better life. My parents actually ended up meeting and marrying each other here in the U.S. They have been working long and hard ever since, but have two kids, my brother and me, and a nice cozy home.

My ancestors moved to the United States because they wanted a better life for their children and more opportunities than they had in Mexico.

Re: What reasons caused your family or ancestors to move?

My Great Grandmother moved here from Canada to find a better job and to be closer to family.

My family has moved a couple of times for my dad's job but I was young and don't remember to well.  I hope that we can stay here until I graduate from highschool because I have good friends here.

My ancestors on my dad's side moved to the United States to work in the auto industry in Detroit.  The ancestors on my mom's side moved to the United States to work for the railroad.  They moved here for jobs.
